Obituary
Randy Howlett, 52, of Ames, Iowa passed away Saturday morning, August 26, 2000 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. He had been undergoing chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Randy, the son of Aljean Holm and the late Robert Howlett, was born November 7, 1947 in Britt, Iowa. He was a graduate of Kanawha High School and Iowa State University, and was employed with the telecommunications department at Iowa State University.
Randy was a naturalist and enjoyed painting, and woodworking.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Kama Lea, and granddaughter, Jacquelyn, from Des Moines, as well as his mother, Alijean Howlett from Britt, his brother Bob Howlett and his wife, Jeanne from Alexandria, Virginia, sister Becky Haxton and her husband, Roger from Britt, brother Chuck Howlett and his wife Heidi from Geneva, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sincerely missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Howlett.
