Randy Scott Tvedt

Randy Scott Tvedt, 51, of Britt, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.

Funeral services for Randy Tvedt will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center Street West, in Britt with Pastor Joel DeBoer officiating.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 178 Center Street West, in Britt and will continue one hour prior to services.  

Randy, son of Marvin and Irene (Rowe) Tvedt, was born August 28, 1961 in Hampton, Iowa.  He attended school at Britt Community Schools graduating in 1979. The following summer he attended boot camp at Fort Sills for the Army Reserves.

Randy worked at various jobs including Lauritsen Foods, Bob Witte Construction, a farm hand, and Kiefer Built before settling in at I.M.T., where he recently completed 20 years of service.

His hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing, gun shows, working with his hands, good food, conversing with friends, and watching movies.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his children, whom he loved with all of his heart, a daughter Caitlyn, sons Hunter and Connor; one sister, Audrey, brothers; Al (Fran), Milo (Teddie), Dave, Ron (Kim), Jan (Becky), John, along with many nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary.
