Richard W. Jackson, 93, of Dows passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, July 3, at Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Richard "Dick" Jackson was born on July 13, 1929 to parents Alfred and Margaret Jackson. He was born on the family farm in rural Dows. Richard was united in marriage to Nadine Harris on April 28, 1957. The couple made their home in Dows where they were happily married for 58 years. Richard was a jack of all trades, working at his family trucking company for several years, as well as doing glass repair and numerous odd jobs. Richard is proceeded in death by his parents Alfred and Margaret Jackson, as well as his wife Nadine Jackson, and his siblings Howard, Arlene, Eugene, Donald, Barbara, and Kenneth. He is survived by caretaker and close friend SheRee Wharton of Dows, along with his nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
