Robert "Bob" G. Figurski, age 61, of Clarion, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at his home in Clarion. A Memorial Mass for Robert G. Figurski will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church, 608 2nd Avenue NE in Clarion, with Monsignor John Hemann officiating. Visitation for Robert G. Figurski will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Robert Figurski's name to Gateway Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Bob, son of Stanley and Marie (Youngbougher) Figurski, was born on December 11, 1955 in Erie, PA. Bob grew up in Erie, and graduated from Strong Vincent High School. In 1978, Bob met Susan Gardner and they married June 1, 1979. Bob and Suz were blessed with three daughters, Jaime, Dina, and Kelsey. In 1990, they moved to Iowa where Bob worked in manufacturing and distribution. Bob worked for Electrolux for 22 years. He finished his career with Hagie Manufacturing Company - where he gratefully worked for 4 years. Aside from golf and being in the fairway, Bob also loved camping, fishing, hunting, playing Zonk with Suz, and golf video games in the winter to keep up on his game. Bob was always good for a daily fact, silly song, or weather update. He was a husband, a dad, a hard worker, a jokester, and a great Papa to 8 grandkids. Bob is survived by his wife Susan; three daughters Jaime (Nate) Lesher, Dina (Pete) Haggenjos, and Kelsey (Jared) Burres; eight grandchildren: Gabriel, Penelope, Paisley, Benson, Maverick, Viviana, Josephine, and Atlas (Atter Bob); four sisters and their spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Marie, and brother Stanley.
