Robert Lee Peterson, 53, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 1992 at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa. Robert, the son of Raymond Harry and Arlene Lee Peterson, was born November 1, 1938 at Britt.  He graduated from Britt High School in 1956.  He served with the United State Marines from 1956 to 1960 when he received his discharge.  After his discharge, he was employed at Cedar Rapids. In 1970, Robert was united in marriage with Sharon Maudsley at Cedar Rapids.  In 1971, the couple moved to Britt. He was employed at Winnebago Industries in Forest City. Survivors include one daughter, Kim Peterson of Britt, Iowa; one son, Mike Peterson serving with the United States Army; his mother, Arlene Peterson of Britt, Iowa; two brothers: John Peterson of Los Angeles, California; Bill Peterson and his wife, Gloria of Britt, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, who passed away October 23, 1988.
