Obituary
Roberta Sue Clark, 71 of Clear Lake and formerly of Kanawha, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa in Mason City.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Amsterdam Township Cemetery in Kanawha at a later date. Ewing Funeral Home in Kanawha is assisting the family with arrangements.
Roberta Sue Clark was born March 8, 1942 to Robert M. and Iola J. (Howlett) Clark in Algona. She attended Humboldt High School and later moved with her family to Kansas City and later, Denver, Colorado.
Sue moved back to Kanawha with her parents upon their retirement and made her home at Duncan Heights for more than 20 years. She later moved to Oakwood Care Center where she has resided for the past 12 years.
Sue enjoyed embroidery and playing solitaire in her younger years and never had a mean word for anyone.
Sue is survived by her sister Sally (Frank) Devine of Independence, Missouri and her special family and staff at Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents.
