Ronald L. Christian, 76, of Goldfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at UnityPoint Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Per Ron's wishes, no services will be held. Ronald Lynn, son of James Christian and Barbara (Steyer) Foot, was born on September 7, 1948, in Fort Dodge Iowa. When Ron was an infant, his family moved to California. Ron grew up there and graduated from high school. In 1979, Ron came back to Iowa. On August 22, 1981, Ron was united in marriage to Linda Bonney at the Open Bible Church in Eagle Grove. Ron worked at the Eagle Grove Co-Op and worked as a police officer in Wright County. Over the years, Ron enjoyed going for motorcycle rides and running his model train set. More recently, Ron enjoying being on the computer. He loved going to the Family Table for coffee every morning until his health declined. Ron is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Christian of Goldfield; step-sister Michelle of California; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-siblings Bruce and Pam.
