Ronnie Mann, 57, of Kanawha passed away Friday, September 4, 2026, at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City.

Ronnie Lee Mann, the son of William and Shirley (Anschutz) Mann, was born in Giddings, Texas. He grew up in there and graduated from Giddings High School in 1987.

Following high school, Ronnie pursued his passion for bull riding and became a full-time professional bull rider with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR). His time riding gave him the opportunity to follow a sport he enjoyed and experience a different way of life. He also drove truck for many years.

Later in life, Ronnie moved to Kanawha, where he found a slower pace of life and became part of the local community. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and could often be found fishing or lending a hand to local farmers. Ronnie appreciated the simple things in life and enjoyed staying busy and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Sara Mann and stepson Paul Irwin.

He was preceded in death by his parents two daughters, brother David, sister Bonnie and parents-in-law Shirley and Eugene Smith
