Obituary
Rosella Sabin, 78, passed away Monday, September 20, 1993, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, East Campus, in Mason City, Iowa.
Rosella (Besch) Sabin was born April 8, 1915 to Peter and Mary (Hilbert) Besch in rural Palo Alto County in Iowa. She received her education at the parochial school in Whittemore and at Hamilton Business College in Mason City.
On October 11, 1937 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Sabin at St. Michael's Church in Whittemore. They established their home in Kanawha. To this union were born James, Madelyn, and Donald.
Rosella was preceded in death by James, October 26, 1961, and her husband, Kenneth on May 26, 1987. She is survived by her daughter, Madelyn and her husband, Samuel Thorsland of Dakoka City, Nebraska; her son, Donald and his wife, Barbara of Independence, Iowa; five granddaughters; her sister Susan Kliegl of Humboldt, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Homer Sabin and wife, Isabel of Pinehurst, Idaho; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
