Obituary
Samatha Ann Mohr, 45, of Goldfield passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Monday, December 19, 2011, in Goldfield.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at United Presbyterian Church, 220 East Oak Street in Goldfield with Pastor Justin Asche officiating. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
Sam was born on October 18, 1966, in Iowa City to Justine and George Ferrell Sr. The following year the family moved to Goldfield, where she attended high school. In 1984, she married Kenneth Mohr in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. For the next several years she traveled the world with Ken for his military career. The couple was later blessed with two children, Ken Jr. and CJ. After 10 years of marriage, the couple separated and Sam made her home in Goldfield. In 2008, she met Brent Reed whom she truly loved spending time with. Sam enjoyed gardening, tanning, rock hunting, riding Harleys and spending time with her family.
Sam is survived by her mother, Justine of Goldfield; sons, Ken Jr. of Fort Dodge and CJ of Goldfield; granddaughters, Evelyn and Lacie; brother, Floyd (Wilma) McCoy of Lincoln, NE and her significant other, Brent Reed and his children, Logan and Miranda "Randi" all of Goldfield.
She was preceded in death by her dad, George Sr. and brothers, Bill and George Jr.
