Sena Limberg, 95, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 1996, at the Hancock County
Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa.
Sena, the daughter of Menne and Trientje Redenius, was born on December 10,
1900, north of Wesley. Sena was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith
and was a member of Woden Christian Reformed Church. She was a charter member of
the ladies aid and was active until her health started to fail. She received
her education in the schools near Wesley.
She was united in marriage to Ben Limberg on February 26, 1925, at the home of
her parents in Orthel Township. She and her husband started to farm near
Britt. In 1935, they moved to a farm near Woden and lived there until her
death.
Sena is survived by her son, Harley of Britt; six sisters-in-law: Lora Redenius,
Sylvia Redenius, Mary Esther Redenius, Trienette Redenius, Esther Limberg and
Alice Limberg; brother-in-law, Paul Meyer and many nieces and nephews and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister - Rally, six
brothers - Fred, Henry, Ole, John, Menno and George.
