Obituary
Sherry V. (Jennings) Wagner, 56, of Eagle Grove, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Clarion.
Celebration of Life will be held in September.
Sherry Vaughn Wagner, was born on September 7th, 1965 in Clarion to the proud parents, Wayne Carlton and Lynne Rae Jennings (Amosson). Sherry passed on Sunday July 10th at the Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 56.
She attended and graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1983. Her first marriage was to Dwain Pelzer and brought to them their son, Micheal Wayne, in 1985. They lived together in Arkansas for a short while. Sherry returned to Iowa and worked selling Avon and at The Smoke Shop. She remarried to Kevin Wagner. Together they had two children, Jerry Ray and Kaylee Lynne.
Sherry studied psychology, social work, and counseling. She also took courses at Iowa Central in Fort Dodge for nursing assistant. Sherry enjoyed being a homemaker, puzzles, bowling, crosswords, playing cards, and coloring. She collected wolves and Precious Moments figures. She participated in bowling leagues for many years. She competed in several local and state tournaments.
Sherry had an infectious giggle that was often heard during sarcastic banter with friends.
She leaves behind her father Wayne Jennings. Her son Micheal and his children, Justin, Emmet, Liam, and Iris. Her son Jerry and wife Abigail, their children, Sawyer Rae and Peyton Lynn. Her daughter, Sherry’s real Precious Moment, Kaylee and her daughter Milee. Her siblings, Shayne (Tracey) Jennings, Shelley (Russ) Beisell, and Leah Kiefer. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She joins in Heaven her mother, grandparents, aunts and uncles, Kevin Wagner, and her dear friend DeAnn Johnson.
A deep loss is felt by all that loved her. A celebration of life will be held in September.
