Condolences
Our families visited each other often, as our dads were cousins. So many happy memories of our times together. Sending my condolences. You had a wonderful mom and dad.

My most favorite childhood memories were on the farm with Aunt Shirley and Uncle Johnnie. "Billie" and I getting in trouble for something.. no telling... we were creative...it happened a lot! :-D Collecting eggs from the coop, playing with the endless supply of kittens, picking green beans from the field, meeting the new foal who had just taken her first breath earlier that morning, playing in the corn crib, finding the crawdads in the creek, or blowing up the cow-pies in the pasture with blackcat firecrackers. Sweet tea to drink, and fresh brownies or fudge that had just been made. The smell of dove hand soap and the ice-cold well water to wash off the most recent shenanigans. The gardens, the horses, the clothes hanging outside on the line, the mountain of hanging fair ribbons (mostly blue) from Billie's many accomplishments... Sure, the other girls had their fair share as well. I could go on. THEY were my favorite place in the world... Shirley and Johnnies. They made it home. My only regret was moving so far away and missing a life-time of treasured moments. I dearly love them and look forward to seeing them again on the other side. My love to all of my cousins. Pebs
