Susan M. Sherman, 56, of Clarion, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion. Memorial services for Sue Sherman will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the memorial service. Susan Marie, daughter of George and Caroline (Wood) Mossman, was born on March 3, 1965 in Hampton. Sue grew up on an acreage just outside of Dows and attended school there until she graduated in 1983. In 1990, Sue was united in marriage to Kurt Johnson. To this union, Jori was born. They later divorced. In 2008, Sue was united in marriage to Keith Sherman. They made their home in Clarion. Sue worked at EDS in Clarion for many years and later worked at Hagie Manufacturing. Sue enjoyed camping, biking, kayaking, and photography. She loved traveling and sightseeing with her Sherm. Spending time with her grandchildren and family were most important to her. Sue is survived by her husband Keith of Clarion; daughter Jori (Amilcar) Fuego of Alexander; step-children Victoria (Justin) Baker of Fort Dodge, Gabrielle (Ryan) Smithman of Des Moines, Micheal Sherman of Fort Dodge, and Genevieve Sherman of Des Moines; grandchildren Jillian, Jovani, Jace; step-granddaughter Riley Jean; father George Mossman of Eagle Grove; brother Jeff (Lynette) Mossman of Dows; sister Lori Sly of Alexander; and many other family and friends. She is preceded by her mother.
