Thomas John, son of Wayne and Gloria (Burrs) Stille, was born on September 3,
1967 in Belmond. Tom grew up in Goodell and graduated from Belmond High School
in 1986. After high school, Tom worked for Pioneer Cleaning Service at Eaton
Corporation, and later Winnebago Industries for over 26 years.
Tom loved golfing and fantasy football with his buddies. He enjoyed going to
auctions and buying and selling collectibles and antiques. Tom's favorite
pastime was watching the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeyes. Tom would often be
seen riding around town in his golf cart with his dog, and after a Vikings win,
they'd be wearing their Vikings jerseys.
Tom was a kind, easy going guy with a good sense of humor. He valued all of his
friendships and respected everyone. His family, including his dogs, were
important to him and he loved every one of them.
Tom is survived by his brothers Gene (Diana) Stille and Mark (Ginger) Stille,
all of Goodell; sister Lisa Darner of Boone; and nephew and niece Cody and
Jessica.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Steve 'Beav'; grandparents;
cousins Cale, Kevin and Andy; and uncles Mac, Marlin, and John; aunts Maxine and
Jan; and brother-in-law Chuck.
