Timothy H. Reynolds, 52, of Belmond, passed away Sunday, July 12 2020 at his home. Memorial services for Tim Reynolds will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 304 3rd Avenue Northeast in Belmond, with Pastor Katie Pals officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Those in attendance will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines and encouraged to wear a face covering. Timothy Henry Reynolds, son of Nicholas and LaDonna (Spangenberg) Reynolds, was born on December 20, 1967 in Hampton. Tim grew up in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High School in 1986. While in high school, Tim was active in football and wrestling, along with band and choir. He qualified for state his senior year in wrestling. After high school, Tim attended NIACC where he played football for a year. In 1988, Tim began working at Eaton Corporation in Belmond. He started out working on the floor, moved up to Supervisor, and eventually General Foreman. Tim traveled across the United States and to Germany for work. It was at Eaton that Tim gained his nickname "Tiny." While working full-time at Eaton, Tim earned his bachelor's degree from Buena Vista College, graduating Suma Cum Laude. During his late 20s and early 30s, Tim served as a member of Belmond's police reserves and was part of the local drug task force. In 2010, Tim began working at SportsGraphics, where he was currently operations manager. April 15, 1989, Tim was united in marriage to JoEllen Dorenkamp at Zion Reformed Church in rural Sheffield. The couple made their home outside of Sheffield, Hampton for several years, before moving to Belmond where together they raised their two sons, Kyle and Cole. Tim was an avid motorcyclist. After their children were born, Tim often spoke of riding motorcycles with his boys some day. They were able to fulfill that dream. Tim loved going on motorcycle trips with friends to Sturgis and northern Michigan. He and JoEllen spent as much time as they could riding motorcycle on summer evenings and weekends. Tim was a loyal Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeye fan.  His larger than life personality meant he never knew a stranger, and was generally the life of the party at social gatherings. Tim's family meant the world to him. Together, they enjoyed traveling and going on vacations over the years. Time spent with JoEllen, his sons and grandchildren Addysen, Cayden and Lynden was when Tim was the happiest. Tim is survived by his wife JoEllen; two sons Kyle and Cole; three grandchildren Addysen, Cayden, and Lynden;  parents Nick and LaDonna Reynolds; two brothers Corey (Tina) Reynolds and Jason (Connie) Reynolds; sister Kristy (Gary) Kiley; aunt Nancy Albee; parents-in-law Duane and Doreen Dorenkamp; brothers-in-law Erik (Kim) Dorenkamp, Tim (Janine) Dorenkamp and Nathan (Mary) Dorenkamp; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and sister Nicole Reynolds.
