Obituary
Vera Fern Tesdahl, 89, passed away Saturday, June 8, 1991 at the Kanawha Community Care Center in Kanawha, Iowa.
Vera, the daughter of George and Lucy (Hunt) Rust was born July 26, 1901 at Kanawha. She was raised on a farm near Kanawha and attended the country schools.
On February 23, 1921 she was united in marriage with Lewis Tesdahl at Clarion. The coule made their home a farm southwest of Kanawha.
Vera was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Kanawha and also a member of the Ladies Aide.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis who passed away in February 18, 1992; one sister; one brothers and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters: Maylene Schreur and her husband, William of Kanawha, Iowa and Marjorie Dibben and her husband, Darrell of Blair, Nebraska; one son, Donald Tesdahl of Rome, Italy; 10 grandchildren' 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Opal Rust of Britt, Iowa; one brother, Raymond Rust of Marshalltown, Iowa.
