Obituary
Violet Lucille Rapp, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 1996, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Care Center in Mason City, Iowa.
Violet, the daughter of William and Emma (Piplow) Miller, was born February 8, 1914, in Britt, Iowa. She attended school in Britt and graduated from Britt High School. On March 23, 1935, she was united in marriage with Milbern "Buster" Rapp. The couple made their home in the Britt area. Violet worked at Kreitinger's Hardware and Man Shop. She enjoyed sewing and handiwork, especially quilting.
She is survived by her daughter, Verna Beaman and her husband, Vern of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren: Vickie Golobic and her husband, John and their children, Randie and Krista of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Valerie Murphy and her husband, Michael and their children, Derek and Kyle of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Vanessa Wilcox and her husband, Jim and their children, Mark and Kevin of Farmington, New Mexico; Terry Rapp and his wife, Lisa and their children, Emma and Megan of Lee Summit, Missouri; Bobbi Jo and her husband, Dan Yeoman and their children, Ashley, Courtney and Justine of Corwith, Iowa; one sister, Mayme Ehmke of Britt, Iowa; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son - Jerry, two sisters and five brothers.
