Obituary


Yvonne (Dahlgren) Hansen, 88, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly Clarion, Iowa went to be with her Lord July 5, 2020, battling Parkinson’s Disease the last few years.

Yvonne was born in Clarion, Iowa on June 15, 1932 and married Max A. Hansen, also of Clarion, on June 25, 1950. After Max attended Iowa State, he found employment with Boeing Airplane Co. in Wichita in the early 1950s. Yvonne has resided there ever since.

She was preceded in death by Max in 1987; her parents, Mildred E. (Mosher) and Harold G. Dahlgren; and three brothers, Darl, Lyle and Lee Dahlgren.

She is survived by daughter Debby (Roger) Smith; son Bob (Terri) Hansen; grandchildren Mark Smith, Scott (Brianna) Smith, Molly (Rodney) Redinger, Hannah (Alan) Reed, Brian Hansen, and Nathan Hansen; great-grandchildren  Payton Smith, Quinn and Max Smith, Elyse, Jack, Ryann and Teagan Redinger and Kenna and Kellan Reed; along with her brothers Gary (Diane) Dahlgren and Lonney (Chris) Dahlgren.

Wichita funeral services were held on Friday, July 10, 2020.

Clarion visitation for Yvonne will be held 10 AM Monday, July 13, 2020 with the funeral service at 11 AM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged.
