Betty was a dear friend to my mother Rosalyn (Rosy). May she be carried by the angels to her place in eternity. I share a birthday with Betty so a special prayer will be coming her way Sept. 16th.

I will always remember sweet Aunt Betty. She was small in stature but had a huge heart and beautiful smile to match. We loved seeing her at gatherings and loved her Christmas gifts that were made with her loving heart and hands. That meant so much. She will be missed on earth, but I know this angel will always be with us. Tangela (Jeff) Weiss

Betty was like a second grandma to many of us in the Barker clan because she always came to the various reunions and holidays. I can remember that every Christmas for a while, many of us would receive birthday cards with rare $2 bills in them. Not only that, but she cared for her sisters deeply. There wasn't a day that went by that Grandma Jo wasn't talking to Betty on the phone. Betty continued to attend Barker family functions even after Grandma had passed. She was always welcome! I also remember that she enjoyed keeping record of the family history. I'm told by one of my Uncles she had found some family link on the Barker side to one of the two President Adams's. Not sure how true that is, but it's interesting to think about! I remember giving her a big hug when I left at her 100th last year and telling her to take care of herself. I will miss her greatly She was small in stature, but big in heart. We'll miss you, Aunt Betty! Tell Uncle Orvin hello for us!

I will always remember Betty and her hat collection and baking her delicious Kringla for everyone. She was small but mighty. Will miss her.

My friendship with Betty started 46 years ago. We both worked at Britt Tech, I will always remember her for how hard she worked for sure, But more for her kindness to everyone. She always had a smile. But I will also remember her for being a Catholic Daughter member. She was always willing to lend a hand for whatever project we had going. I will also remember the long visits we had talking about the past. Well, that's enough. Rest now in peace Betty. Your Friend Deb

We were so lucky to have a "bonus" mother and grandmother in our family. That memory will always be cherished by myself, Niki, and my children. You were always there for us.. Always. I found this picture of you and Orvin when loading your belongings from the Summit House last week. Enjoy going to Heaven to be with Orvin and the rest of our family. Pray for us all, as I know you are already watching over us from above.
