Obituary
Betty L. Stevenson, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 1992 at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa.
Betty, the daughter of Robert and Josephine (Birch) Foss, was born April 27, 1932, at Sioux City, Iowa. She received her education in the Willmar, Minnesota schools.
On June 11, 1961, she was united in marriage with Robert L. Stevenson at the First Lutheran Church in Britt. The couple farmed in the Britt area.
She was secretary and treasurer for the Ventura Gun Club for 20 years. She was also secretary and treasurer for Congregate Meals. She enjoyed bowling, and was an active Charter member of Britt Lioness.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; her children: Sharon Stevenson of Akron, Iowa; Michael and his wife, Lisa Stevenson of Burlington, Iowa; Sue Stevenson of Spencer, Iowa; Barb and her husband, Gary Walker of Spencer, Iowa; three grandchildren: Megan England (Michael's daughter), Nicole Walker and Neil Walker.
