Obituary
Brian L. Nielsen, 49, of Crystal Lake passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in Forest City, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held Saturday May 29, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at the P Wees in Crystal Lake with Pastor Timothy C. Miller officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on May 29, 2010 at the Crystal Lake Township Cemetery.
Brian, the son of Harold and Lila Eenhuis Nielsen was born January 28, 1961 in Britt, Iowa. He attended Woden - Crystal Lake High School graduating in 1979.
Brian was employed by Winnebago Industries in Forest City, Original Saw Company in Britt, and drove school bus for the Woden - Crystal Lake School. At the time of his death, Brian was a student at Kaplan University in Mason City.
Brian was a member of the Crystal Lake Fire Department and EMS in Crystal Lake.
Brian is survived by his father, Harold of Crystal Lake; three brothers: Robert of Algona, Howard of Forest City and Gordon of Crystal Lake; special friends Lyle and Brenda Ross of Crystal Lake, and numerous other friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother Lila in November of 1977; step-mother Margaret in August of 2006 and brother Monty in January of 1998.
Ewing Funeral Chapel of Britt is assisting the family with arrangements.
