So sorry to hear of Aunt Doris's passing. We will always remember her as the dynamo she was.

Doris was such a special lady, accepting of others in spite of their foibles. An almost-next-door neighbor for a few years in Belmond. She and Merle gave me a job when I was nearly out of money and supported me in my year of grief. I appreciated her sense of humor. Our last talk was only about a month ago. I will miss her. Prayers go upward for her family who will REALLY miss her.

A life will lived! I count myself among those fortunate to grow up in Belmond when people like Doris and Merle were there. Constants in our world. At every game, music event, theater production, church social..... I am so grateful that Doris and my mom struck up a friendship in the last several years. I would call home around 5:30 and sometimes be greeted with laughter and giggles from those girls as they diligently put together puzzle or had just had a coffee visit. Doris was a peach! We will miss her very much! RIP

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Doris. What a fine lady she was. I remember her very fondly during my years as pastor there. She was always pleasant and willing to help wherever she could. She was so very proud of her family and would give us highlights often. I’m sure Doris will be missed. Rest in peace Doris, your work here on earth is done. Pastors Cindy and Don Morrison
