Obituary
Gerald “Jerry” L. Hauge, 76 of Belmond, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick’s Lane South in Belmond with Pastor Dave DeKuiper officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Sunday.
Gerald Louis, son of Abel and Alice (Thompson) Hauge, was born on April 13, 1945 in Whittemore. He attended school in Forest City.
On June 19, 1965, Jerry was united in marriage to Sharron Robertson in Belmond.
Jerry worked factory work most of his life. After retiring, Jerry worked in transportation at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, bowling and golfing, going to the casino, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his wife Sharron; children Rodney (Laura) Hauge, Robin Gatewood (Ray), Todd (Heather) Hauge, and Kathy (Jim) Struecker; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Patricia Bartleson, Donna McClary, and Diane Pickar; and brother Doug (Susanne) Hauge.
He is preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law; and grandparents.
