Just so many good memories of James and the Nelson store. As I grew up on the Crystal Lake farm, which is now the county campground, I would see James often when in the store. Also, my brother, Roger, graduated with James in 1961, prior to Roger's passing in 1975. I did not realize James graduated from Mankato State the same year I did in 1970. I do remember that David was going to Mankato about that same time. Rest in Peace, James!

I'm so ery glad I got to meet and take care of James in the short time I took care of him. He was such a nice man and what a man for taking responsibility of being your father figure when you lost your dad. Thank you Erik for allowing me to take care of him You and your family are in my prayers.

Sad to hear the news. James was always so helpful and friendly when we shopped at Nelson's Grocery Store. He was in my brother's class of 61 at WCL.

James Allen was a good friend as we lived next door for many years. Moved to CL in 1941 and left about to start my own family in 1960 Then we moved back to home place in 1969 thur 1976. Many years there. I grew up next to all 3 Nelson kids. God Bless Sharon (Simons) Johnson.
