Obituary
Kenneth “Ken” Byron Dahlke, passed away from a long battle of cancer on October 27, 2013. He was born on June 2, 1941 to Everett and Mary (Kostritza) Dahlke in Milwaukee, WI. His early life was spent in Milwaukee. He relocated to Colorado, then back to Wisconsin before settling in Crystal Lake, Iowa.
He worked at Coors in Colorado where he met his wife Patricia Dahlke (Sewolt). Then later moved to Wisconsin where he worked at Saint Gobain until he retired. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandpa, and brother. He was known by his grandkids as a Grumpa whose heart was full of love.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years Patricia Ann Dahlke; children Wendy (James) Mendenhall, Wayne (Theresa) Dahlke, Crystal (Will) McFadden, and Tiffany (Greg) Giebel; his siblings Arnold (Lesli) Dahlke and Dorothy Wolter; and his grandkids: Jacob 24, Leanne 16, Melody 15, Liam 10, Samantha 9, Connor 8, Savanah 7 and Rusty 5.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Terry Strutz.
A memorial gathering will be held at a future date and time.
