Obituary
Linda R. Zeigler, 60, of Kanawha passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Wright Medical Center in Clarion.
Funeral services for Linda Zeigler will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Kanawha Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Rossing Grandall officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery near Kanawha.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ewing Funeral Chapel, 118 East Second Street in Kanawha and continue one hour prior to services at the church.
Linda Ruth (Omvig) Zeigler was born to Arthur and Marjorie (Carlson) Omvig on November 9, 1948 in Belmond, Iowa. She attended Kanawha Community Schools and graduated in 1966. She lived on her family farm south of Kanawha until she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Zeigler on October 1, 1966.
Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her six grandchildren. She loved watching their activities. She enjoyed cross-stitching, playing cards/games, doing puzzles, baking and she loved to giggle.
Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert; her children: Melanie (Terry) Lottie, Joel (Sarah) Zeigler, Pamela (Thomas) Holden; her six grandchildren: Joshua Zeigler, Suzie Lottie, Shelby Zeigler, Sydney Lottie, Zachary Holden, Cole Holden; her mother Marjorie Omvig; sister Diane (Jerry) Ebersviller; two sisters-in-law: Marj (Jerry) Tripp, Betty (Dwight) Davis; two brothers-in-law: Gary Johnson; Marvin E. (Marlys) Johnson along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Art Omvig and father-in-law Ervin Zeigler, step-father-in-law and mother-in-law Carl and Anna Johnson.
