Margaret Jane (Claude) Loux, 86, of Clarion passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Careage of Clarion in Clarion.
Private funeral services were held at Ewing Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street, in Clarion, with Pastor Warren Curry officiating. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
Margaret Jane Loux was born October 15, 1925, to John "Jack" and Elsie (Worrick) Claude in Clarion, Iowa. She attended school in Clarion.
On January 5, 1941, Margaret was united in marriage to Donald Loux in Austin, Minnesota. The couple made their home south of Clarion where they farmed until Donald’s death in 1976. Margaret moved to Clarion and later to Goldfield.
Margaret was a member of the Clarion Church of Christ.
Margaret enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
Margaret is survived by her children, Fayann (Mike) Spence, John Loux, and Raymond Loux; grandchildren Tim (Siena) Spence and their children Nafiza and Nathan, Kim (Ron) Schumaker and their children Ross (Missy) and Alex, and Kenny (Michele) Spence and their children Adam and Mara.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, her son Tom, great-grandson Ryan Spence, and three sisters.
