Obituary
Marjorie, the daughter of George and Effie (Baker) McNeish was born September 28, 1905 at Jeffers, Minnesota. With her parents she moved to Kanawha in 1906. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. She was educated in the Kanawha schools and attended the University of Northern Iowa. She taught school for six years.
On June 3, 1930 she was united in marriage with Harold R. Morgan at Kanawha. The couple moved to Britt in 1933 where Dr. Morgan established a dental practice.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Britt. Over the years Marjorie was very active in the P.E.O.; Kings Daughters; Eastern Star and the Women's Club. She was was a Sunday School Superintendent and a Girl Scout Leader.
Survivors include one daughter, Jenele Ditsworth and her husband, Wayne of Britt, Iowa; one son, Judd Morgan and his wife, Shirley of Chetek, Wisconsin; four grandchildren: Jill Ditsworth, Jay Ditsworth and his wife, Carolyn; Jennifer and Matthew Morgan; one great-granddaughter, Jayme Ditsworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. H.R. Morgan who passed away in 1984; two infant daughters: one infant sister; one sister, Gretta Jane Huey; one brother, Roy McNeish and a daughter-in-law, Charlotte.
