Marlorie Ann (Knutson) Olson

Marlorie Ann (Knutson) Olson the daughter of Helmer and Della (Walterman) Knutson was born on May 16, 1921 in Kamrar, Iowa. She moved to Webster City, Iowa with her parents as a young girl. She completed her education graduating from Webster City High School in 1945. After graduation she worked for Hahney Printing Company. Marge met her "Prince Charming" Arnold Olson in 1946 and married him on November 17, 1948. In 1950 Arnold and Marge moved to a farm outside Clarion. After 54 years, they left the farm for the city life. The past two years they have resided at Southtown. Marge and Arnold traveled many miles to attend their grandchildren's activities. Marge enjoyed numerous hobbies, AM coffees, golf, Sew Day, Alter Guild, ECLA Circle, bridge, card club, Water Buffaloes, Hospital volunteer, 3C's and crossword puzzles. Those left to cherish her memory are, her husband of 57 years Arnold; daughter DeAnn Cotoran and her husband Richard of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; son, Duane and his wife Lynn of Shoreview, Minnesota; daughter Jane Leese and her husband Grant of Edina, Minnesota; grandchildren, Meghan and Ryan Corcoran, Eric and Dana Olson, Daniel, Maggie, and Sam Leese; brother Howard Knutson; and Arnold's brothers and sisters. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, Della and Helmer; four brothers, Roy, Johnny, Harley, and Gury Knutson.
