I (Larry) was manager of Grundy County REC, also in the Corn Belt system, from 1987 to 2010. Thus, Mike and I had many occasions to interact at Corn Belt Managers Meetings and other various other meetings and seminars. I marveled at his abilities and new ideas, especially in economic development. He was always friendly and good natured to both of us. We will miss him as will many other people. It is interesting that we have 2 daughters, also named Jennifer and Stephanie! Larry and Darlene Marske, Grundy Center

Mike, was quite a Boss, if you didn't mess with Him he would'nt mess with you. as a neighbor he was generous with anything he had+appreciative for any favor you did for him. fun to visit withas long as you agreed with him.he was Norwegian +he would let you know it. gonna miss him
