Obituary
Neva Bruhl, 92, of Clarion, died Monday January 29, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center in Fort Dodge.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ewing Dugger Helgeson Funeral Home in Clarion with Pastor Gary Snook officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday at the Funeral Home.
Neva Viola Hilpipre , the youngest of 10 children was born on June 30, 1914 to Gustave and Emma (Hazeman-Bernard) Hilpipre in Wright County. She was raised and educated in the Clarion area graduating from Clarion High School.
On June 30, 1935 she was united in marriage to Burton Lewis Bruhl. To This union two daughters were born, LeAnn in 1952 and Alene in 1955.
Neva and Burton enjoyed flying their airplane and traveling in their motor home. later on they enjoyed going on bus tours. Nava and Burton lived many years on the farm until 1977 when they moved into Clarion. in 2005, they moved to Bickford Cottage in Fort Dodge. Neva enjoyed sewing and he doll collection was a great joy to her.
neva is survived by her husband Burton; daughters, LeAnn Tonderum of Fort Dodge and Alene (Gary) Betts of Jefferson; grandchildren, Aaron, Laura, Jon, Jeri;, 2 great-grandchildren.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and son-in-law, Arlyn Tonderum.
