Samantha Kay Garza, the daughter of Eugene Tabb and Marcia Haugland was born February 26, 1973 in Britt. She grew up in the Fort Collins, Colorado area and attended school there. While in school, Samantha met her best friend and future husband, Cesar Garza III.
Cesar and Samantha were united in marriage on December 31, 1997, and lived in Colorado. They were blessed with five children. Samantha was a full time caregiver, raising her children and later taking care of her husband. She always preferred to help others over helping herself.
Samantha’s favorite hobbies were coloring, writing, arts and crafts, and listening to music. She was very creative. Those who knew her would say that she would always have scary movies and candy waiting just in case she could talk someone into watching them with her, which she usually could because, “She was always right!” Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren.
Samantha is survived by her children Alphonso (Angel) Garza and their children, Alizea and Alphonso Jr, Sonia (Mariano) Varela Madrigal and their children, Bella, Angela, and Saphyre, Katie Garza and her children, Estrella, Lucero, and Anthony, Nicole (Kodi) Garza, and Jericha (Jose) Garza; mother Marcia (Gary) Farrow; father Eugene (Vicki) Tabb; siblings Travis (Andrea) Tabb of Boise, Idaho, Christina (David) Gniady of Loveland, Colorado, Mindy (Nathan) Roberts of Buffalo Center, Ashley Tabb of Wesley, Amanda Garcia, and Cody (Kaci) Farrow of Loveland, Colorado; special friend David Hernandez; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cesar Garza III on September 24, 2008 and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
