Condolences
I worked with Wanda in Stitchcraft for many years. We shared a love of Fenton glassware. She was always asking about my family and my children.. getting to know them through me. As I got to know her family through many discussions over the years! She absolutely loved her nieces and nephews and constantly praised their abilities and their successful school careers and sports and livestock..it was all there!! Many hours of chit chat...and how much she loved her mother. I lost track of her after she retired and moved back to Meservey to be with her Mom. She would call from time to time. I am glad she is at rest back in the arms of her parents whom she has missed since they left this earth. God bless Wanda.

My condolences to the family. Although I haven't seen Wanda in close to 50 years, I have vivid memories of her. (Mostly of her putting up with me as a toddler wanting to talk her ear off). We lived in the upstairs apartment owned by Doc Jurgenson and Wanda lived downstairs. My mom was a stay-at-home mom at that time, so I'd watch soap operas with her, then wait at the window for Wanda to get home from work so I could yell out the window and give her the update from "As the World Turns." I remember being so excited to see Wanda come home, and I also remember my mom saying, "Okay, Jeanette, Wanda just got home from work and wants to go inside. You can tell her more tomorrow!" My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family at this time.

I'm sorry for your loss. Wanda was one of my favorite residents. I will always remember my last moments with her. When I and my grandma (friend) went to visit her and we talks about homecoming. I was suppose to send her my pictures but I won't able now. But she will see them in spirit. She will be missed.

My sympathies to Wanda’s family. So sorry to hear this news. Wanda was so kind to our mother and our family was able to get closer to her. Carol and I stopped by to see her at the CC last month. So glad we made that trip! Linda
